Since joining El Gaucho and his father and founder, Paul Mackay in 2003, the two worked together to build a special place for people to celebrate their lives. Chad took the helm as CEO in 2013 and over the years, developed strategic direction to promote continual growth. In 2017, the company announced the evolution to Fire & Vine Hospitality, which provides operational leadership, culinary expertise and product sourcing, marketing, and technology support for some of the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic properties, including: El Gaucho Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Portland, and Vancouver, WA (opening summer 2021), AQUA by El Gaucho, Eritage Resort, Walla Walla Steak Co., Crossbuck Brewing and Aerlume. Chad served as Board Chair of the Washington State Hospitality Association and is the Finance Chair for Visit Seattle. In 2018, he became one of the founding members of Third Door Coalition, working to solve chronic homelessness in Seattle and King County through the proven solutions of Housing First and Permanent Supportive Housing.

A Missouri native and University of Washington graduate, Cooper has worked in Seattle’s restaurant industry for over 20 years at some of the city’s most famous restaurants. Cooper was recruited in 2007 by owner Paul Mackay to manage El Gaucho Seattle because of his natural sense of hospitality and was personally mentored by Paul to learn El Gaucho’s history and philosophy regarding high standards of guest service. Cooper was then promoted to Director of Operations at Fire & Vine Hospitality where he managed the team, training, and restaurant operations for all locations.  In 2022, Cooper became President of Fire & Vine Hospitality.

Hailing from Minneapolis, Tony has been in the hospitality industry since 1988. Starting his career as a bellman at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, he quickly discovered a love for the business. A year later, Tony moved back to Minneapolis and started a seven-year stint with the Whitney Hotel, a premier boutique hotel in the city, while completing his degree at the University of Minnesota.

In the fall of 1995, Tony packed up his golf clubs and trekked to Seattle, and also made the switch from hotels to restaurants. Starting as the maître d’ at West Seattle’s iconic Salty’s on Alki, he stayed for nine years and worked his way up to General Manager. After a few years at Ivar’s Salmon House, the opportunity arose to work with friend and colleague Cooper Mills at El Gaucho Seattle. With a strong belief in the concept, atmosphere, character, and integrity that Paul Mackay has created with El Gaucho, Tony has enjoyed his time in fine dining. After all these years he still has the passion to please that he did as a new bellman at the Phoenician resort many years ago.

Terianne Broyles has been part of the hospitality industry for more than 25 years. She held management positions with the Inn at the Park in Spokane, Washington and more than 20 years with Salty’s restaurants. She joined El Gaucho in 2018 as the general manager of El Gaucho Tacoma and her steady leadership led to her promotion to operations director in 2022. Her responsibilities include building and developing talent and supporting the growth of the company and its culture.

Terianne and her husband Mark have been married for 39 years and their son Dylan is an attorney in Boise, ID. She loves spending time outdoors, especially at Mount Rainer, where you’ll typically find her hiking, and running trails.

Sivi Mennen has spent her career creating exceptional experiences and building relationships with guests, corporate clients, and the Seattle community. As the general manager of AQUA by El Gaucho, Sivi’s commitment to building a strong team and loyal guests resulted in her being named a Tourism Ambassador by Visit Seattle, the city’s Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Her new role as Fire & Vine Hospitality’s sales strategy director will enable her to provide unique experiences for both corporate clients and celebratory diners showcasing the full portfolio of Fire & Vine Hospitality properties and partners throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Her primary area of focus is to continue her deep engagement with executives and event planners at many of the region’s top companies and organizations creating a range of large-scale events, as well as corporate retreats, wine tasting trips and other ways to revel and celebrate life. Sivi serves as a mentor and works collaboratively with the private dining teams at each of the Fire & Vine Hospitality properties to provide a seamless and exceptional level of service at every event.

Sivi considers herself blessed to have worked with some of the best in the business and was especially influenced by her experiences working with El Gaucho founder, Paul Mackay and looks forward to sharing what she has learned. Sivi is part of a close-knit Seattle-based family and is also generous with her time working with many local non-profits, including Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission and USO.

Tamara Nealy

Raised on a third-generation wheat and cattle farm in Eastern Washington, Tamara brings a unique blend of agricultural roots and creative expertise to her role as Director of Marketing and Communications for Fire & Vine Hospitality. Since joining the team in 2012, she has led brand strategy, marketing initiatives, and company-wide communications. With over 20 years of experience across hospitality, specialty coffee, and nonprofit sectors, Tamara is known for crafting impactful campaigns, building authentic brand narratives, and creating meaningful connections through digital engagement and events.

A Washington State University graduate with a degree in Communications, Tamara is passionate about celebrating the people and stories behind each experience Fire & Vine creates. She holds a Level One Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers and loves exploring the Pacific Northwest through running, hiking, yoga, and discovering new restaurants and wineries. Her greatest joy is being mom to her son, Gunnar.

Zach joined the team in 2016 after working for Northern Ireland’s oldest peace and reconciliation organization. As the creative lead, Zach is responsible for digital assets, marketing strategy, and coordinating our loyalty program.

Kim brings organization and a motivational energy to the Fire & Vine team as well as a stash of candy and treats to sweeten our days. She was born in Edmonds but grew up in Oso, just outside of Arlington, WA. She earned her BA in Hospitality Business Management at Washington State University and previously worked in the service industry with food and wine before joining the El Gaucho Bellevue team in 2011. She joined the Fire & Vine management team in 2017 for a new challenge and to be part of a new area of growth for the company.

Spending time with her friends and family, as well as her adopted Terrier mix, Brody, is a huge priority for Kim. She enjoys being outdoors, especially hiking and camping, as well as traveling the Northwest and the world including Mexico and Thailand. Kim’s creativity comes to light with crafting projects including sewing, painting and repurposing vintage finds to make gifts and décor. Kim is a natural care-taker and keeps the team on track!
